VI’S CORNER: “CHANDLER”

BEVERLY HILLS—My name is “Chandler”, and I’m a little Maltese Terrier. I was found, as so many of us are these days, wandering around the streets with no tags or micro-chip. I looked pretty scraggly, so it was obvious that I had been abandoned and wandering around for quite a while. However, after I was brought into the Friends of Animals Foundation, I was groomed right away, and I look and feel, oh, so good!
I was then taken to the Vet to be completely checked out. She found that I have an ear infection, which is being treated; I have a slight heart murmur, which is considered only a two on a scale of six, and many dogs have heart murmurs and live out long and healthy lives; and my right eye might have a cataract. I have an appointment with an ophthalmologist to have him check my eyes. If it is a cataract and the doctor says that it should be removed, that will be taken care of. So, you see, I will be in tip top shape and ready to be part of a loving family pretty soon.
Now, let me tell you about my personality. I’m very well behaved, I get along great with other dogs, and I love people. There’s not an aggressive bone in my eight pound body. I love going for walks, and all of the volunteers say that I have excellent leash manners. Oh, yes, I forgot to tell you that I’m a little boy about seven or eight years old.
Now that you know all about me, I hope that there’s someone out there that will make me part of their family. Could it be you? I promise that you won’t be sorry!
Just in case I’m not the one for you, please check the website, which is: foafla.petfinder.com, to see all of my doggy and kitty friends that are here waiting for that special someone. But please, don’t forget me!!
