BEVERLY HILLS—Hi, my name is "Cody", and I'm a four month old Cocker Spaniel. It took two photo shoots and 'umpteen' photos to get this one picture, as I'm a fast mover! Well, I'm just a puppy, so what do you expect?
Seeing that I'm so young, there isn't too much that I can tell you about myself. So, if you think that you might want to adopt me, be sure that you know that I have a lot to learn, such as being housebroken, and learning right from wrong, as it's all the same to me right now. I'll need doggy chew toys, so that I don't chew on your shoes, or other things that are off limits, such as wires. I'm curious, and could get into dangerous things. So, it's a good idea to child-proof cabinets, and keep all food and pill bottles well out of my reach.
Come to think of it, there are a few things that I can tell you about myself. I get along with other dogs, but so far I haven't had a chance to be with kitties or children. I imagine that I would get along with them, too, as I'm very friendly and not at all aggressive. I've been called loveable, affectionate, and pretty well behaved! However, I'm very smart, so train me with kindness and I promise to be very well behaved.
If you're not up to having a young one like me, I've met dogs of all ages and sizes since I've been here, that are calm and well mannered, and would love a home, too. I haven't met any of the kitties, but I hear that there of lots of them that would also love a home to call their own.
I understand that they use something called a litter box, so that they don't have to be walked. Well, I don't want to start a disagreement with them, but I don't want to use a litter box, because I want my walks! So, I look forward to be housetrained, which means that I will get out and about!
