BEVERLY HILLS—My name is "Cory" - and, no, I'm not sticking my tongue out at you! I'm licking my lips to get that last bit of a treat that I was given for being such a good boy! Anyway, that's my story, and I'm sticking to it.
This is the second time that I'm here, but you probably don't recognize me because the first time I had long, flowing hair. I now have a puppy clip, which is much easier to care for, and a lot more comfortable for me.
To refresh your memory, I'm a little boy about one and a half years old, and I weigh about twelve pounds. My mom was a Malti-Poo, which means a combination of a Maltese and a Poodle. My dad was a Dachshund, or a Doxi, for short. So, that makes for quite a cute mix, doesn't it?
I get along with everyone - dogs, cats, and children, too, as long as they realize that I'm a little one, and treat me, oh, so gently!! I love to go for walks, I love to play, and I love to cuddle. So, I'm an all around little guy.
I hope that someone will call to see me, then fall in love with me and want to make me part of their family. I promise not to stick my tongue out at you, except to give you lots of kisses!
Note: Now that the hot weather is here, please remember to keep your pets cool. If they are outside, be sure that there is enough shade and water for them. The water bowl should be kept in a place where the sun won't be able to reach it.
Never shave a dog down to the skin. Always keep the hair at least an inch long, as this protects the skin from the sun. And, never, ever, leave a dog alone in the car, as it can reach oven temperatures in a matter of minutes.
"Cory" is waiting for that call to see him, and so are all of the other wonderful dogs and cats that are here. You can see them all if you visit our website, which is: foafla.petfinder.com. Then they'd love to see you in person!
