VI'S CORNER: "DIAMOND"

BEVERLY HILLS—My name is "Diamond", and I'm a four month old Husky mix. I'm another one that had been abandoned. It seems as though there is an "epidemic" of people abandoning dogs and cats, lately, which is very, very sad. We would never, ever, abandon our families.
A very nice couple found me a couple of months ago. However, with me being so very young, and with them being, what they called "seniors", I was a little too energetic for them to handle. They felt that they couldn't give me the proper training and exercise that I needed. So, sadly, they brought me to the Friends of Animals Foundation, where they knew that just the right loving home would be found for me.
I'm a very happy pup, as you can see by the smile on my face. I've been told that I have beautiful eyes, but, unfortunately, I don't think that you can see that they are a very pretty shade of blue in this picture. I have to learn to open my eyes wider when my picture is taken! Well, that's a good way for me to get you to come in to see me in person, isn't it? So, if you're up to training me and giving me lots of exercise - and lots of love, too, of course - I hope that you will call to see me.
Note: Before bringing a puppy into your home, be sure that your home has been "puppy-proofed". Puppies are very curious and are chewers, so be sure that they can't have access to people foods, medications, household cleaners, garbage, electrical cords, and articles of clothing. It's best to "child proof" any cabinets that can be opened easily, or might be left open accidentally. Better safe than sorry.
We have so many wonderful dogs and cats that would love to have that forever home. Please check our website at: foafla.petfinder.com where you can see them all. Then just give a call for an appointment to see the one or ones that you feel would best fit your life style.
