VI'S CORNER: "LEAH"

My name is "Leah", and, believe it or not, I was left on the door step of the Friends of Animals Foundation one night a couple of weeks ago. I was in a crate along with my buddy, whose name is "Liam". We are both Miniature Pinschers, and everyone thought that we were brother and sister. However, when the Vet examined us she thought that I was about three years old, and that "Liam" was under a year old. You will be meeting "Liam" right here in a couple of weeks, so you will see what a cutie he is!
It would be nice if we could be adopted together, but we understand that's not always possible. So, we will each be happy to have a loving home to call our very own.
There's not much that I can tell you about myself, but I have been hearing people say that I'm very pretty and very sweet. So, that makes me feel really good! As you can see by my picture, I have a very shiny coat, bright sparkly eyes, and big stand up ears - just the way that they are suppose to be!
I get along with the other dogs that are here, and I love going for walks. I'd like so much to have a lap to curl up on, and being only about ten pounds, you'd hardly know that I was there. So, I hope that you will call to see me, then we can go for a walk if you'd like, and when we get back I hope that you'll let me curl up on your lap for a little while. Who knows what that will lead to?
Just in case I'm not the one for you, I hope that you will check this website: foafla.petfinder.com, where you will see all of the other dogs and cats that are here waiting for that certain someone to call to see them, just as I am. We're waiting for that phone to ring!
