BEVERLY HILLS—My little "Pepe" wants to wish a very Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, and Happy Holidays to all!
Seeing that "Pepe" is not very trusting of men (which is putting it mildly!) - until he gets to know them - I never expected him to let Santa (aka Vaughn Corden) pick him up, hold him and pose, while photographer Vince Gonzales took dozens of pictures. I held my breath when Santa picked him up, and was afraid to look as he held him close to his face. But, he didn't give even the slightest growl. He was a little angel, and made me a proud "mommy". I guess that he wanted to show Santa that he was nice, not naughty, so that he'd be sure to get lots of presents!
It was a fun time for all at Mike and Eva Campbell's fantastic Doggie Styles boutique in Beverly Hills. They generously donated all of the proceeds from the picture taking to the Friends of Animals Foundation. Vince and Vaughn also donated their time and expertise, and I had so many great pictures it was hard to choose just one. It was obvious that they both have a great love and understanding of dogs. as there were dogs of all kinds and sizes, and they all behaved beautifully.
A big thank you, again, to Mike, Eva, Vince and Vaughn from all of the two and four-footed ones at the Friends of Animals Foundation!!
