BEVERLY HILLS—My name is “Pumpkin,” and I’m “Miles” sister. He’s the little pup that you met last week. As he told you, and as you can see for yourself, we look nothing alike. However, if you have any doubts that we are brother and sister, we have plenty of proof. Our mom, “Priscilla” was “expecting” when she was brought into the Friends of Animals Foundation, and when we were born on Thanksgiving Day of last year there were plenty of witnesses!
We’re just about ready to be adopted, so, if you’ve never had a puppy before, and would like to adopt one of us, be sure to read up on what to expect. Besides training us, you should really “baby proof” your home. That means being sure that we can’t open cabinets to get to things that could harm us, not leaving anything of yours on the floor or low tables, no wires that we could chew, in other words, you can’t keep anything within our reach. Well, look at it this way – with everything out of the way you will have a much neater home.
Or will you? You’ll have our toys all over the floor, water spilling over from our water bowl, food dropping on the floor from our food dish, stepping on treats that were left in various places and, no doubt, a little “accident” to clean up once in a while until we’re trained. But, it will all be well worth it, I promise!!
If you’d like to see pictures of my brother and my mom, plus all of the other doggies and kitties that are here, you can see them all on the website, which is: foafla.petfinder.com. I sure hope that you will come to see us!
