SAN FRANCISCO—The Los Angeles Dodgers are back in first place in the National League West Division after sweeping the San Francisco Giants in San Francisco over the weekend.

Behind a complete game shutout from ace Clayton Kershaw on Sunday, the Blue Crew moved into a tie for the top spot in the West. Kershaw, the life-long Dodger, had plenty of help on the offensive side from a few new faces in L.A.
Short stop Luis Cruz, who is filling in for the injured Dee Gordon, extended his hitting streak to 12 games after a 2-4, 2 RBI game.
The Dodgers biggest acquisition, Hanley Ramirez, was huge in the series. Friday night, Ramirez broke a 3-3- tie in the 10th inning with a solo home run that gave the Dodgers the lead and eventually the win.

Saturday, Ramirez went 2-5 and drove in 3 runs as the Dodgers routed the Giants 10-0. Hanley added another RBI Sunday and helped complete the sweep.
The Giants were without all-star Pablo Sandoval for the entire series.
Since joining the Dodgers, Ramirez is 7-21 (.333) with 7 RBIs and 3 walks in only 5 games. The Dodgers are 3-2 with Ramirez.
