Vin Scully will be returning for his 65th season.
LOS ANGELES—On Friday, August 23, the Los Angeles Dodgers made the official announcement that legendary Dodger announcer Vin Scully is returning to the broadcaster booth for his 65th season in 2014.

Scully, 85, has been a part of " America’s pastime” since debuting with the Brooklyn Dodgers in 1950. “It’s time for Dodger baseball,” announces Scully at the start each Dodger game, calling the play-by-play, and storytelling each pitch has made Mr. Dodger a star in Los Angeles.

This summer the Dodgers have gone from last place to first place with a record of 76-52. Die-hard Dodger fans are left at the edge of their seats, praying game after game for a home-run and hoping for a long-awaited World Series Game.

Scully shows no signs of wanting to leave the booth, as he will be calling all home games in California and Arizona.
