Bulls Shock Miami With Victory

MIAMI—On Monday, May 6, the Chicago Bulls took game one from the Miami Heat in the first game of the conference semi-finals. The Bulls won 93-86 on the road against the defending champions.

Nate Robinson led the Bulls with 27 points and nine assists. Robinson received 10 stitches during the first half of the game in a collision and came out in the second half to score 24 points for the half. Jimmy Butler had 21 points and a career tying 14 rebounds. Butler has played from start to end all 48 minutes for the last three games. Joakim Noah had 13 points, 11 rebounds and four assists during the night.

 

Lebron James received his MVP award and the Heat was coming off a one-week rest. James was held to a 2 point first half, but managed to finish the game with 24 points, eight rebounds and seven assists. Dwayne Wade had 14 points on 16 shot attempts. The Heat had a sloppy game shooting below 40 percent for the night.

 

The series will continue in Miami for game two on Wednesday. The winner of this series advances to the Eastern Conference Finals against the winner of the Indiana Pacers and New York Knicks series.
