The Rockets will now boast three centers on their roster including two of the best young centers in Omer Asik and Dwight Howard. Camby is excited to be back in Houston joining a young core of guys who have the potential to reach the NBA Finals.

Camby became a free agent earlier this month when the Toronto Raptors bought out his contract. He has been owed $7.5 million over the final two years of his previous deal. Toronto previously acquired Camby in the deal that sent Andrea Bargnani to the New York Knicks.

The 39-year-old played in just 24 games for the Knicks last season averaging 1.8 points per game. He was drafted in 1996 second overall by the Toronto Raptors and has played in 973 games during his career.
