The Clippers are the first elite team in the western conference that lost to the Mavericks this season. The Mavericks won 109-102 in overtime after tying the game with an OJ Mayo layup. Dirk Nowitzki had a season high 33 points for the Dallas Mavericks. The Mavericks had six players in double figures to lead them to the victory.
The Clippers went more than four minutes in overtime with a field goal after Chris Paul put them up by a point. Chris Paul also had a season high 33 points who scored the last 10 points of regulation including the first field goal in overtime.
Matt Barnes had an open shot to tie the game, but shot an air ball in a crucial moment. Blake Griffin and Caron Butler both had 14 points for the Clippers. The Clippers next play the New Orleans Hornets on Wednesday.
