Durant took part in Jamal Crawford’s Summer Pro-Am. It was “KD’s” first time back in Seattle since the SuperSonics left Seattle for the Oklahoma City Thunder. He was the NBA rookie of the year during the 2007-2008 season and he continues to hold the city in his heart. He took to twitter to thank the city, “ Seattle will always have a place in my heart!! Love u all."

The Summer Pro-Am summer league is organized by Crawford, and the league has seen many special guest appearances in the past. There are rumors of Black Griffin stopping by in the coming weeks. Durant has avidly supported the SuperSonics occasionally being spotted wearing retro hats. He wasn’t efficient on Sunday night, as he only made 26 of his 62 attempts and the team eventually lost in overtime 147-141.
