Knicks Beat The Heat

MIAMI, FL—On Tuesday, April 2, The New York Knicks beat The Miami Heat on the road to extend their win streak to nine in a row. Carmelo Anthony of The Knicks propelled his team to the victory scoring career high 50 points against Miami. The New York Knicks won 102-90. Miami was without Lebron James, Dwayne Wade and Mario Chalmers for a second straight game.

Anthony finished the game 18 for 26, all of his points coming from jump shots 21 points came from the three-point line. J.R. Smith had 14 points for the Knicks and Raymond Felton added 10 points. Kenyon Martin and Iman Shumpert both contributed with nine points to the New York Victory. Chris Bosh had 23 points for The Heat without their two superstars. Ray Allen had 16 points, Norris Cole had 14 points and Mike Miller had 18 points, but it wasn’t enough to stop the streaking Knicks and Carmelo Anthony.

 

The New York Knicks (47-26) second in the eastern conference will next play on Wednesday against the Atlanta Hawks who hope to continue their winning streak. The Miami Heat (58-16) first in the eastern conference will go on the road against the Charlotte Bobcats on Friday.
