Miami Forces Game Seven

MIAMI—On Tuesday, June 18, the Miami Heat held off the San Antonio Spurs in an overtime thriller to force a game seven. The Heat won 103-100 to extend their season for at least one more decisive game.

Lebron James led the Heat with a triple double he had 32 points, 11 assists, 10 rebounds and three steals. Mario Chalmers had 20 points and Dwayne Wade had 14 points. Chris Bosh had a double with 10 points and 11 rebounds he also had the game saving block. Bosh kept true to his promise of not leaving Danny Green open, who only had one three-pointer.

 

Tim Duncan led the Spurs with 30 points and 17 rebounds, but he didn’t score once after the third period. Kawhi Leonard had 22 points and 11 rebounds. Tony Parker had 19 points. Both of the teams shot below 50 percent and it was a very close game until the last seconds.

 

The best of seven games series between the Miami Heat and the San Antonio Spurs continues on Thursday with game seven in Miami. The winner of this series will receive the Larry O’Brian championship.
