Posted by Luis Cuevas on Mar 24, 2013 - 10:21:58 PM

UNITED STATES—On Sunday, March 24, the Miami Heat extended their win streak to 26 games without Dwayne Wade. The Heat defeated the Charlotte Bobcats. Lebron James almost posted a triple-double with 32 points, 10 assists and eight rebounds to lead Miami to the 109-77 win. Chris Bosh and Norris Cole each scored 15 points without Dwayne Wade in the line up, because of soreness in his left knee. Ray Allen also posted 14 points for Miami.

Kemba Walker of Charlotte had 20 points and Gerald Henderson contributed with 18 points. The Bobcats held a lead by 11 in the beginning of the game. Miami used a 31-6 run to eliminate the deficit in the first half and used another run in the second half 26-5 to put the game away and secure another win for the team. The Bobcats finished the game with only five three-pointers and Miami finished with 13 three-pointers.

Miami will now face a four game road trip starting on Monday against Orlando, including games against Chicago, New Orleans and the San Antonio Spurs. Miami is only seven wins shy of catching the 1972 Lakers consecutive win streak of 33.
