UNITED STATES—NBA teams have made various trades and signings over the last couple of days. The Atlanta Hawks claimed Gustavo Ayon, the Denver Nuggets re-signed Timofey Mozgov and the Charlotte Bobcats have signed Gerald Henderson.
Charlotte shooting guard Gerald Henderson has agreed to a three year, $18 million contract with the Bobcats.
Henderson had an option to become an unrestricted free agent before his final year on contract. He was the twelfth overall pick for
Charlotte in the 2009 NBA draft and averaged 15.5 points per game last season for the Bobcats.
The Hawks claimed center Ayon off waivers. The Milwaukee Bucks waived Ayon last week before his $1.5 million salary became guaranteed.
Atlanta will pick him, which makes the salary now guaranteed. He averaged 3.7 points and 4.9 rebounds with the Bucks last season.
The Denver Nuggets have resigned center Timofey Mozgov to a three year, $14 million contract. Mozgov has averaged 3.9 points and 3.1 rebounds over 130 career games. He averaged only 2.6 points and 2.6 rebounds last season in
