MIAMI—The San Antonio Spurs are not playing around. That taste of revenge was high for the team who traveled to
Miami to take on the Heat in Game 3 of the NBA Finals. I will admit I had a feeling
Miami would take the game, considering they were playing on their home court, but the Spurs had other plans. The Spurs captured a victory on the road 111-32.
The Spurs made NBA history shooting 75.8 percent of their shots in the first half of the game. Yes, shooting percentage that high would definitely solidify a team that is on the verge of playing team basketball. During the first quarter the teamed scored a massive 41 points. By half-time
San Antonio led
The San Antonio Spurs put a beating on the Miami Heat in Game 3.
Miami wouldn’t go down without a fight rebounding in the third quarter scoring 25 points, putting them at a deficient of 10 points, but the Spurs maintained their lead throughout the game.
Kawhi Leonard led the Spurs in scoring with 29 points and two blocks in the game. His teammate Tim Duncan had six rebounds in the game and a total of 14 points.
On the Heat’s front, LeBron James and Dwayne Wade both scored 22 points. James had 5 assists and 5 steals in the game as well. The biggest mistake the Heat faced was the amount of turnovers in Game 3, which amounted to 20 compared to
San Antonio who only had 12. The Spurs and Heat will do battle in Game 4 on Thursday at 9 p.m. at the American Airlines Arena in
Miami. Expect the Heat to come out blazing to tie up the series.
