The Lakers were at home for the last two games, but couldn’t get a win. Dwight Howard was ejected early in the third quarter for arguing. Pau Gasol led the Lakers with 16 points, eight rebounds and five assists. Andrew Goudelock had 14 points for the Lakers. Howard’s below average play highly recognized as the best center in the NBA only scored seven points for the game. The Lakers had 30 points from the bench, but it wasn’t enough.

Tony Parker led the Spurs with 23 points. Kawhi Leonard had 13 points and Tim Duncan scored 11 points. The Spurs bench has been the all-star for the Spurs when it comes to winning games. The bench had 41 points to help the Spurs close out the series. The Spurs only had eight turnovers compared to the Lakers 21 turnovers.

The San Antonio Spurs will face the winner of the Denver Nuggets and Golden State Warriors series. The Warriors are currently up 2-1 against the Nuggets. The Spurs would also hold home court advantage in that series.
