The Grizzlies Even Series

OKLAHOMA CITY—On Tuesday, May 7, the Memphis Grizzlies took home court advantage away from the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Grizzlies won 99-93 over the Thunder in another game that came down to the wire.

Mike Conley led the Grizzlies with a near triple double he had 26 points, 10 rebounds, nine assists and one steal. Zach Randolph had 15 points, eight rebounds and three assists. Marc Gasol had 24 points and five assists. Tony Allen had 12 points, seven rebounds and five steals to contribute to the victory. The Grizzles out-rebounded the Thunder 43-35 on the night. What hurt Oklahoma the 19 turnovers in the game.

 

Kevin Durant was also one assist shy of a triple double. He put up 36 points, 11 rebounds, nine assists, one steal and one block, but also had five turnovers. The only other player to contribute to the win was Derek Fisher with 19 points off the bench for Oklahoma.

 

The Grizzlies and the Thunder will continue battle on Saturday in Memphis. The winner of this series will advance to the Western Conference Finals to face the winner of the Spurs and Warriors series. Both of the series are currently tied at 1-1.
