The Rockets Survive Game 4

HOUSTON, TX— On Monday, April 29, the Houston Rockets beat the Oklahoma City Thunder to hold off elimination. The Rockets won 105-103 in a thriller of the game that lasted until the last second.

Chandler Parsons led the Houston Rockets with 27 points, ten rebounds and eight assists. Omer Asik had 17 points, Patrick Beverly had 16 points and James Harden had 15 points on 12 shot attempts. The Rockets shot 48 percent from the field, while Oklahoma also shot 48 percent from the field.

 

Kevin Durant led the Thunder with 38 points, eight rebounds and six assists, but also had seven turnovers for the game. Reggie Jackson had 18 points, but Jackson took more shots than Durant. Kevin Martin came off the bench to score 16 points and Derek Fisher also played big for the Thunder with 12 points, but it wasn’t enough to get the win.

 

The Rockets and the Thunder’s series will continue on Wednesday back in Oklahoma. The Oklahoma Thunder are hoping to finish off the series and get some rest before the Conference Semi-Finals against the Clippers or the Grizzlies. Oklahoma continues to play without all-star point guard Russell Westbrook who is out for the playoffs.
