The Spurs Blowout Heat In Game Three

SAN ANTONIO—On Tuesday, June 11, the San Antonio Spurs demolished the Miami Heat in game three after being blown out by Miami in game two. The Spurs won 113-77 to take a 2-1 advantage in the series.

Danny Green led the Spurs with 27 points and four rebounds making seven of his nine attempted threes. Gary Neal had 24 points, four rebounds and three assists. Kawhi Leonard had a double double with 14 points and 12 rebounds. Tim Duncan contributed 12 points and 14 rebounds. San Antonio shot an NBA Finals record 16 threes to put out the Heat.

 

Dwayne Wade had 16 points, five assists and four steals. Lebron James had 15 points, 11 rebounds and five assists. Ray Allen came off the bench with 15 points, but it wasn’t enough to stop San Antonio’s hot shooting.

 

The best of seven games series will continue on Thursday in San Antonio with game four. The Spurs can take a commanding 3-1 lead with another win.
