LAPD Seeks Victims Of Sexual Assault Suspect

BEL AIR—Los Angeles Police Department detectives are seeking the public’s help in locating additional female victims of a 31-year-old man who was arrested for felony sexual assault last month. According to a Friday, May 11, LAPD news release, Judd Weiss, a resident of Bel Air, was arrested on April 12 by members of the LAPD’s Operations West Bureau-Sexual Assault Detail.

The Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office filed charges against Weiss, who owns a valet parking service and also is a commercial real estate broker. Weiss was released after posting $100,000 bail.

Shortly after his arrest, Weiss posted a statement on his Facebook page.  “I’ve been flooded with messages of support, and just saying thank you doesn’t feel enough. I felt so sick to my stomach the other day and right now I feel so much better.” Weiss continued, “The way I’m looking at this situation right now is that it’s a very challenging test of resilience. There’s no other option for me but to give this everything I’ve got and do the best I can. You guys are awesome and I am so grateful.”
