Pemberton, who is a member of the Grape Street Crips, has a history as a serial burglar.  On October 25, 2011, Pemberton was arrested and charged for six burglaries committed in Bel Air, Sherman Oaks, Woodland Hills, Valencia and Burbank.  As part of his punishment for being charged with these crimes, Pemberton was fitted with a GPS ankle tracker from State Parole.

After his arrest, Pemberton was held on $1.1 million bail. At a bail hearing his bail was reduced to $500,000. Not long after, Pemberton posted bail and another GPS ankle tracker was placed on his ankle, which was then cut off by Pemberton on May 25.  Pemberton uses the moniker of “KP Money” and frequents rap music studios.
