ASICS Marathon Runs Through Beverly Hills

The ASICS Los Angeles Marathon starts atthe Dodger Stadium and ends near the Santa Monica Pier.
BEVERLY HILLS—The city of Beverly Hills will make room for the ASICS Los Angeles Marathon to run through town on March 9. The marathon starts at 8:00 a.m., but the streets used in the marathon will be closed off starting at 6:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. The run starts at the Dodger Stadium and ends near the Santa Monica Pier earning itself the nickname 'Stadium to the Sea.’

 

The marathon welcomes over 25,000 participants, but according to a press release from the ASICS marathon website, the run was officially sold out as of February 26, only holding a few more spots for those running for charity. Those participating in the run will have several designated water stations, water station 16 will be located at Crescent Drive/S. Santa Monica, and Water Station 17 will be located on S. Santa Monica, 1 block south/west of Wilshire. A Medical Station will be located in the Rexford Mini Park at Rexford Drive and Burton Way.

 

Spectators in Beverly Hills can view the marathon from Mini Block Party/Water Station 16 on Crescent Drive at South/Little Santa Monica Boulevard, North Rodeo Drive between Santa Monica Boulevard and Wilshire Boulevard, and Wilshire Boulevard between Rodeo Drive and Santa Monica Boulevard. Parking will be available at 450 N. Crescent Drive and 221 N. Crescent Drive.
