Almeida will be accompanied by violist Arthur Benjamin. Patrons will be able to enjoy a variety of both contemporary and classic pieces at Beverly Hills Greystone Mansion located at 905 Loma Vista Drive.

Born in Australia, Almeida is a double prize winner of the 2008 Primrose International Viola competition, an international music competition for viola players that is sponsored by the American Viola Society. He was also the principal violist for the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, the BBC National Orchestra of Wales and the Annapolis Symphony. He also played on two European tours with the Baltimore Symphony and the Beijing Olympics. Currently, he lives in Los Angeles and is a recording artist for the Fox Television Network.

Music in the Mansion, under Artistic Director Laura Schmieder, hosts a number of concerts that invite prize winning international and local artists with monthly concerts on Sundays from January until June. In addition to performances, patrons get the opportunity to attend meet-the-artists receptions and partake in a tour of the 1st floor of the Greystone Mansion; one of six recently named historical landmarks of Beverly Hills.

Tickets for regular concerts are $20 per ticket and the season finale is $30 per ticket. Seating is limited and advanced tickets are encouraged. To purchase tickets, please call (310) 285-6830 Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tickets, if available, may be purchased at the door. For more information on the program, please call (310) 285-6830 or visit www.beverlyhills.org. Greystone Mansion is located at 905 Loma Vista Drive, Beverly Hills.
