BEVERLY HILLS—This week in the hills we focus on three of the most handsome, talented and sincerely great guys in the region, who are all international icons. David Beckham left London and Madrid to make Beverly Hills his home. He is not only just down the street from me, but always a man with a smile on his face. Jack Wagner stars on “B&B” and Chris Pine is busy filling the shoes of Captain James Kirk, and much more.
Beverly Hills Soccer Star David Beckham

Soccer star and Hollywood icon David Beckham is very excited about this weekend’s soccer matchup. He will face his former team on Saturday when the L.A. Galaxy goes head to head with Real Madrid at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. He calls his first time going up against his home team a very emotional thing for him to do. He is still very close friends with his former teammates, but fans expect him to give it his all and make us proud in the City of Angels.
Beckham moved from Manchester United to Real Madrid in 2003. However, last year, Real and Galaxy played at the Rose Bowl stadium in Pasadena. The Galaxy took a 2-0 lead before Real Madrid roared back and won the match 3-2, but Beckham couldn’t play that time. This was because he was rehabilitating a torn Achilles tendon.
David and Victoria Beckham welcomed a beautiful daughter last week to their gorgeous family. Her name is Harper Seven, and she’s already the apple of not only her parents’ eyes, but her big brother's as well.

Silver Lake Native Chris Pine

Space, the final frontier. At least those are the words we are used to hearing in the opening of every episode of “Star Trek” on TV, and also at the beginning of every film in the franchise. Chris Pine is now preparing to film the new “Star Trek” sequel. J.J. Abrams is also set to direct his second film in this series, and fans are anticipating Pine’s return to the big screen as Kirk. The Silver Lake native is always smiles whenever I catch him at a table at his favorite café for breakfast in his neighborhood.
