BEVERLY HILLS—The Beverly Hills artSHOW is returning to Beverly Gardens Park on May 18 and 19 for its spring show.
The artSHOW is a bi-annual event that occurs each May and October and has been held for nearly forty years now. The event will be held on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and is, as always, free to the public.
This Spring’s event will be hosting over 250 artists, along with family activities, food trucks, and beer and wine. The artShow has partnered with the Los Angeles Art Association in order to bring unknown artists more publicity. One such artist is the sculptor David Jang who uses unused manufacturing parts to produce his art piece.
The Beverly Hills artSHOW always has a theme and this year’s is “Games and Puzzles in Art.” Artists that are contributing to this include John Kilduff, Deidre Greene, and Kiar Mesko. All 250 artists will be present at the event and will be selling their artwork at the artSHOW.
The variety of artwork will represent many types of art forms. These forms include: watercolors, paintings, photography, sculptures, ceramics, glass, drawings, printmaking, two-dimensional mixed medias, and three-dimensional mixed medias.
The City of Beverly Hills is producing the artSHOW, which will take up four blocks in the center of Beverly Hills.
