City Participates In Green Cities Earth Day

The BH Farmers Market will participate in the Earth Day event.
BEVERLY HILLS
—The city of Beverly Hills will be participating in the 44th annual Earth Day celebration at the Beverly Hills Farmers’ Market on Sunday, April 13. The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. According to a press release from the City of Beverly Hills, this year’s theme is “Green Cities” which is to encourage urban dwellers to live a greener life.

 

At this year’s events participants will be able to ‘go green’ by shredding documents and recycling electronic waste. Also the event will feature displays discussing water conservation, water management, energy efficiency, recycling and participate in helping the movement to transform the planet.

Raffle prizes include two $50 gift certificates from Farmers’ Market vendors C Stars Nursery and Ipatzi Nursery, an irrigation drip system worth approximately $75 Armstrong’s Nursery and Market Money.
