BEVERLY HILLS—A DUI Sobriety/Drivers License Checkpoint will be held by the Beverly Hills Police Department Traffic Bureau on Saturday, August 25, from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. on southbound La Cienega Boulevard at Gregory Way.
"The Beverly Hills Police Department is proud to support the Office of Traffic Safety and Mothers Against Drunk Driving in their efforts to reduce the incidents of alcohol related accidents and deaths on our public roadways," states the press release.
It is a regular occurrence for the Beverly Hills Police Department to conduct DUI checkpoints, DUI saturation patrols, and instate officers with the task of DUI enforcement in order to make the community more safe.
The program is funded by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety (OTS) through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
