BEVERLY HILLS—Author, filmmaker, and frequent commentator David D. Burstein will be presenting and discussing his latest book Fast Future: How the Millennial Generation is Shaping Our World. In this book, Burstein discusses the many leaps that his generation has made when it comes to social aspects and politics and how his generation is the “millennial generation,” making great strides in social and political issues that will go down in history as remarkable. Burstein identifies as a millennial himself and in regards to his use of the word “millennial,” Burstein tweeted that “when talking about millennials we aren’t talking about the actions of every person, it’s about the big movements in the generation impacting us all.”
Former Governor of Vermont, Howard Dean, said that Burstein’s book “is an incisive look at the generation that elected Barack Obama and is changing the way we do everything. David Burstein has written a must read book about the most individually empowered generation in history—his own.”
David Burstein will be presenting his book and discussing more topics related to the millennial movement at his lecture which takes place on Monday, April 8th at 7:30 p.m. inside the council chambers at Beverly Hills City Hall at 455 North Rexford Drive.
