BEVERLY HILLS—Greystone Mansion of Beverly Hills will be holding a fundraiser organized by Whole Foods Market’s “Giving Back Day” to aid in the remodeling of the Greystone Mansion Demonstration Garden. The fundraiser will be on Saturday, April 5 at 239 North Crescent Drive. Five percent of the generated sales will go towards the garden. The event will begin at 2 p.m. and attendees will be given gift bags, as well as the opportunity to participate in interactive gardening activities.

In a press release, the City of Beverly Hills states that, “The Greystone Demonstration Garden is an outdoor venue where individuals can come together to promote the benefits of locally grown, organic food that is environmentally friendly, sustainable and cost effective. The garden is dedicated to inspiring economic, health and educational benefits for a wide array of community members and groups.”

Aside from garnering support from Whole Foods Market, the City of Beverly Hills also claims that, “To date, Armstrong Garden Centers has committed $62,000 in landscaping services, planting and construction materials, irrigation work, and corporate support for the Greystone Demonstration Garden.”
