BEVERLY HILLS—On Saturday, May 25, a homeless man came to the Beverly Hills Police Station with a Kenneth Cole shopping bag and notified the Watch Commander that he found the bag near the Beverly Center.

The man, who requested that he remain anonymous, asked that the bag be returned to its rightful owner.

The shopping bag contained clothes and shoes that totaled to nearly $1,000 according to the receipt found inside. A cell phone was also discovered in the bag.

Police were able to locate the owner and properly return the bag, which evidently fell off the back of a motorcycle. The owner was very grateful for the return of his property, but was unable to give a reward to the homeless man.
