Jon Bon Jovi's Daughter Hospitalized

BEVERLY HILLS—The daughter of Bon Jovi, 19-year-old Stephanie Bongiovi, was hospitalized on Wednesday, November 14 for overdosing on heroin. According to authorities, she is also facing drug charges after being found in her dorm room in upstate New York.

An ambulance crew who received a call about a female in Dunham Hall, the dorm where she lives found Stephanie unconscious early Wednesday morning. Officers arrested Ian Grant, also a Hamilton student, 21, after finding a small amount of heroin in the room.

 

In addition to heroin, investigators gathered other narcotics such as marijuana and drug paraphernalia. After the arrest, there were no comments made on behalf of the singer Jon Bon Jovi. He is expected to perform on December 5 at a concert benefiting Hamilton’s scholarships and arts programs in Times Squares.

 

Bongiovi was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, which is a misdemeanor, and forth-degree criminal possession of marijuana, criminally using drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of marijuana. Grant was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Grant and Bongiovi have been ordered to appear in court in front of a judge.
