Michael Nouri Arrested For Domestic Violence

BEVERLY
HILLS—Film and TV actor, Michael Nouri was arrested for suspicion of
domestic violence in his Beverly Hills home on Thursday at around six
o’clock in the evening.
The
“Damages” and “NCIS” star was booked for battery, false imprisonment,
and obstructive use of a wireless device, as he allegedly tried to
prevent his girlfriend from using her phone to call the police.
According to reports, a verbal dispute turned physical, and police
observed visible marks on the woman’s face. Nouri posted a bail of
$50,000 at around 1 a.m. Friday morning, and has a court date November
30.
Nouri
is best known for his role as Israeli intelligence director, Eli David
in the CBS drama "NCIS," and Glen Close’s ex-husband, Nick Hurley in the
FX drama “Damages”. The actor has also appeared in the hit films “Flash
Dance” (1983) and “The Proposal” (2009).
He
also appeared in several other shows including “Law & Order SVU”,
“Brothers and Sisters”, and “The OC”. He is currently filming the ABC
Pilot “
Empire
State”, and serves as an
ambassador to The Multiple Scoliosis Society and Seeds of Peace, a peace
building youth organization based in
New York.
