Most Expensive Burger In The World

—Zagat revealed the most expensive burger in the world, on Friday, November 30. The Guinness Book of World Records labels the Serendipity 3 burger in New York, as the most expensive in the world, but Beverly Hills has one of its own. Oliverio is the restaurant that features the $500 burger. It consists of 12 ounces of Kobe beef in addition to: melted truffle cheese on top of the burger and two ounces of white truffles, which makes the burger pricier.


Oliverio’s may offer the most expensive burger in Beverly Hills, but there are other burgers higher in price at Oliverio’s. One of them is the Fleur Burger 5000 at Fleur by Hubert Keller in Las Vegas. It includes truffles, foie gras, Wagyu beef and it is accompanied with a bottle of 1995 Chateau Petrus, which is about $2,000 by itself. Another costly burger can be found at 666 Burger, a food truck in New York that cost $666. The burger is made with foie grass-stuffed Kobe beef, caviar, lobster, BBQ sauce made with the world’s most expensive coffee Kopi Luwak and truffles.

For people who crave pizza instead of burgers there is the option of a $2,400 pizza at Margo’s Pizzeria in Malta. It is embellished with white truffles, which have been ordered a week in advance and a gold leaf. The owner of the restaurant donates the money from this meal to charity. In London, the Bombay Brasserie’s Samundari Khazana curry comes with a check of $3,200. In addition, the already traditional curry, comprises of Devon crab, Scottish lobster abalone, white truffles, an edible gold leaf and Beluga caviar.


As for dessert, for $25,000 Serendipity 3 serves the world’s most expensive dessert. The Frrrozen Haute Chocolate, a sundae of five edible pieces of gold in a glass made of more gold is the dessert to be ordered; it has an 18-karat bracelet made of gold with 1 carat diamond. This ice-cream is served with a white and chocolate-colored diamond spoon that customers have the opportunity of keeping.
