BEVERLY HILLS—The Rite Aid located at 300 North Canon Drive was the target of a bomb threat on Friday, April 19. An anonymous person called the Beverly Hills Police Department at around 11:00 a.m. claiming that there was a bomb planted inside the drug store.

The Beverly Hills police and Beverly Hills firefighters arrived on the scene shortly after. The drugstore, along with the parking lot and other nearby businesses were evacuated. Many of the streets in the area were also closed down as a precaution.

Authorities scouted the area for over an hour and were able to confirm that there was no bomb.
