BEVERLY HILLS—Safely dispose of your household hazardous waste and E-Waste at this annual event. On Saturday, September 29, from 9:00 a.m. to
3:00 p.m., the City of Beverly Hills invites its community members to drop off
household hazardous waste and electronic waste (e-waste). This is an annual
event where in one day, residents can drop off up to 15 gallons or 125 pounds
of hazardous waste per trip.
If you are unsure of what hazardous waste you may have, here is a list of typical toxic chemicals: oven cleaner, pool supplies, used motor oil, brake fluid, paint thinner, car batteries, oil paint products, computer monitors, televisions, computer CPUs, keyboards, cell phones, etc. These are for household items only. You cannot bring hazardous waste or electronic waste from businesses. Other items you cannot bring include white goods (such as refrigerators, stoves, and washing machines), controlled substances, trash, tires, explosives, ammunition or radioactive materials.
