iPhone Robbery Suspects Arrested

Beverly Hills Police Department responded to an iPhone street robbery.
BEVERLY HILLS—On Monday, August 20, the Beverly Hills Police Department responded to a call of “unknown trouble” at approximately 11:40 a.m. that was reported as an iPhone street robbery. The incident occurred near the corner of La Cienega Boulevard and Wilshire Boulevard.

 

The victim was said to have been sitting on a bus bench and was texting with his head faced down, when a male swiped his cell and ran away on foot with a female accomplice.

 

The BHPD were quick to respond within minutes and caught the two suspects in pursuit on the 100 block of North Hamilton Drive. The two suspects Sandra Forbes, 33, and Justin Algiere, 20, were arrested and the iPhone was subsequently recovered from the female suspect.
