On Friday, April 18, a power outage occurred in the Beverly Hills area, affecting more than 3000 customers, and leaving 280 residents without power for nearly two hours.
The outage began at 4:15 p.m.

Behzad “Ben” Zaman was arrested for independently running one of the largest student visa scams on the West Coast. Federal agents reportedly charged Zaman with 14 criminal counts of visa fraud.

Legendary actor, film icon and incredible man, Charlton Heston, has died. He was 84. Heston, who won the 1959 Best Actor Oscar as the chariot-racing "Ben-Hur," portrayed Moses, and other heroic figures.
