BRENTWOOD—Chin Chin Restaurant has set an example for its community by celebrating its achievements through helping others. In September, Chin Chin honors its 30th anniversary by providing donations to its local police and fire stations. A weekly complimentary catering order will be served to the police and fire departments near each of the restaurant's four Los Angeles locations including West Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Studio City and Brentwood.

“The Chin Chin Restaurant Group is a strong partner in Community Policing. West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station could not provide its excellent Public Safety and Policing Services, without the strong partnership of community members such as the Chin Chin Restaurant Group,” said Lieutenant David M. Smith, LASD West Hollywood. Chin Chin is known for its contributions to non-profit organizations, but decided to step it up a notch for its 30th anniversary. With this donation, the restaurants show appreciation to the men and women in red and blue for their hard work and dedication to their community.
"I would certainly love to see other businesses following suit and also supporting our local first responders. The commitment and dedication our police officers and fire fighters make is invaluable to our neighborhoods," said Brentwood councilmember Mike Bonin. "One of the first motions I made as a Councilmember was to equip our firefighters with modern technology such as iPads, to help them protect our communities with the best resources available. It would be fantastic to see local businesses not only support first responders with food donations, like Chin Chin is doing, but also with the tools they need to keep us safe."

After opening in 1983, Chin Chin has established its name by providing quality Chinese cuisine as well as its consistent giving nature. “I imagine that Chin Chin's customers will enjoy knowing that the restaurant is giving back to their neighborhood by feeding their first responders,” said Bonin.
