BRENTWOOD—Next time you hear an unexpected knock at the door this fall, think twice about answering it. The Los Angeles Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying four members of the knock-knock burglary crew who have targeted homes in West Los Angeles and Beverly Hills.
The four suspects are all described as black males, 18-25 years old, one was wearing a white tank top, with brown shorts and blue shoes, police said. The suspect’s vehicle is described as a four door ‘98-‘03 black Lincoln Continental or a Towncar with a partial license plate of 4k-k--- or 4k-k3--.
Anyone with information about this crime is asked to contact West Los Angeles Area Burglary Detective C. White at 310-444-1522/24. During non-business hours or on weekends, calls should be directed to 1-877-LAPD-24-7 (877-527-3247). Anyone wishing to remain anonymous should call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (800-222-8477). Tipsters may also contact Crime Stoppers by texting to phone number 274637 (C-R-I-M-E-S on most keypads) with a cell phone.
