Drew Barrymore Welcomes Baby Girl

HOLLYWOOD—Actress Drew Barrymore gave birth to her first child on September 26, daughter Olive Barrymore Kopelman. Barrymore, 37, confirmed the birth on Monday, October 1, and released a statement to People magazine indicating both she and Olive were healthy.

Barrymore got engaged to art consultant Will Kopelman in February 2011 while they were vacationing in Sun Valley, Idaho. Kopelman asked the actress to marry him with a colorless, radiant-cut diamond ring designed by Graff.
The two tied the knot earlier this summer at her Montecito, California home. Soon after, rumors began to circulate that the couple would soon welcome a child. However, it was not formally announced until the wedding photos were released featuring Barrymore's visible baby bump.
