Kim Kardashian Will Wear A Vera Wang Wedding Gown Tomorrow

MONTECITO, Calif.—The sleepy, quiet and affluent communities of Santa Barbara and Montecito are only an hour away from the glitz of Tinseltown here in Hollywood. However, the transformation from quaint village community to star-studded paparazzi-filled streets has residents of Montecito up in arms. That doesn’t matter to the Kardashians. They were once gate crashers at many Hollywood premieres, but now mom Kris, daughters Kim, Khloe, Kourtney and Kiley are the toast of the town and are followed by millions of TV viewers, Facebook followers and Twitter followers alike. This week, mom Kris admitted to a face-lift before her eldest daughter’s wedding, and the beautiful brunette Armenian ladies are planning a lavish $10 million wedding just doors down from my friends Tab Hunter and Rob Lowe, as well as talk show queen Oprah Winfrey. All of whom are prepared for their neighborhood to be overrun with guests and fans of the Kardashians.

Kim said on Thursday before attending her three-hour rehearsal dinner party, “I am not nervous anymore. I think that moment has past. Now I’m just enjoying it.” Kim and her handsome fiancé Kris Humprhies, who plays for the NBA’s New Jersey Nets, were stunning last night on North Canon Drive just down the street from our editorial offices at Montage’s Scarpetta restaurant with more stars than you normally see at a red carpet on Sunset Boulevard on Friday or Saturday night. Wearing a short, tight white dress, Kim walked among throngs of photographers, but she maintained her composure, stopping to pose a couple times before she finally made her way into the beautiful restaurant’s private area for her wedding party.

Kim, who is a reality star on the E Network was joined by over 80 guests in a private dining room, and most of her guests included her famous family members. Her lovely mom Kris admitted to having a face-lift to prepare for her daughter’s big Montecito estate wedding tomorrow, and she looked stunning. Although Kim and her fiancé Kris were polite to fans and photographers, they were a bit subdued and obviously in love. Though sister Khloe Kardashian was a bit more fun and excited to see the press. She wore a tight black skirt and spiky black Christian Louboutin peep-toes. Do you see a theme here? Mother and daughters tend to wear tight-fitting clothes, and those who have talked with Kim admit that her wedding gown by the famed designer Vera Wang is also tight-fitting as well. The one Kardashian who looked horribly out of place last night was 24-year-old brother Rob, who wore a red sweat suit last night, and maybe his plan worked. The paparazzi began flashing camera bulbs when he stepped out of his sports car and didn’t stop until he was inside the restaurant. This family knows how to make an entrance, I’ll give them that!

Inside the private dining room, the first toast came from the best friend of the groom-to-be (Kris Humprhies), Jordan Farmer. While the most poignant toast came from mom Kris Kardashian Jenner, who through tears, lifted her glass and said, “You’d better be nice to Kim!”

Some of the other guests included Kylie Jenner, Kendal Jenner, Olympic Gold medalist and (stepfather) Bruce Jenner, Scott Disick, Lamar Odom, Mason Disick and Jonathan Cheban. At the end of the night, sister Khloe Kardashian tweeted, “Had such an amazing night with my family and friends.”

Tonight Kim prepares for the day of her royal wedding on Saturday. Yes, they consider themselves royalty in America, and for their huge fan base and TV audience, they probably are. Neighbors of the estate where Kim and Kris will be married just want them to go away! But tomorrow is Kim’s day, so she deserves to enjoy her moment. Today Kim’s mom, Kris Kardashian Jenner and Kim’s sister Khloe had a late lunch at a famous French restaurant in Montecito called Maison K. The “K” does not stand for Kardashian, however.

Among the 500 invited guests to the wedding, some famous names and faces include tennis stars Venus and Serena Williams, “American Idol” host Ryan Seacrest, who is also the executive producer of “Keeping Up With The Kardashians,” friend Kelly Osborne, NBC’s Maria Menounos, Kim’s best friend La La Vazquez and reality star Nicole Richie. No word yet if childhood friend Paris Hilton from Bel Air will be there. Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez and Jennifer Lopez have recently confirmed that they will be attending as well. Although it’s being called a Hollywood-style royal wedding, not everyone invited sent an RSVP. “Live” co-hostess Kelly Ripa says she’ll be unable to fly from New York City to Southern California to attend.
