Reports indicate the teenager was driving a white Ferrari with a male passenger when an L.A. County Sheriff's deputy blared his sirens in the 600 Block of Hayworth Avenue. Bieber was ticketed for an unsafe left turn and expired registration. A court date for his citation is scheduled for January 14.
This is not the 18-year-old's first encounter with law enforcements as he was pulled over for speeding in Studio City on July 6. He was reported speeding on the freeway between Coldwater Canyon and Vineland Avenue. Various calls to 911 were made to report the incident as well as Bieber himself. He stated that his speed was due to the paparazzi who were following him vigorously.
Additionally, Bieber was accused of battery in May as a photographer claimed the singer became angry after photos were taken of him and his then girlfriend, Selena Gomez, and proceeded to hit him. The couple left the scene before police arrived and the photographer was taken to the hospital and treated for minor injuries. The case went to prosecutors and police pursued an attempt to interview the celebrities separately. The investigation is ongoing.
Bieber's latest single featuring rapper Nicki Minaj, "Beauty and the Beat," is currently number #15 on the iTunes charts. He has more recently been a source of gossip as his two-year relationship with Gomez has allegedly come to an end.
