BEVERLY HILLS—The beautiful actress, reality TV star and consummate businesswoman Paris Hilton is America’s princess. Though we are not much for royalty in the United States, Paris is the daughter and granddaughter, not to mention great-granddaughter of legends. The American born beauty may have an exotic and European name, but she epitomizes what hard work, astute business acumen and perseverance can achieve in a nation that is always the place for the American dream. The beautiful blonde star created celebrity much like her late great grandfather’s wife Zsa Zsa Gabor did long before the beauty was even born, or her parents for that matter.

However, Paris receives little credit from the crop of current reality stars, who would be nowhere without the ingenuity, know-how and hard work that this amazingly talented stunner has achieved before they were even known around the world. Paris is a young lady who could have easily just lived off of her trust fund. However, the Bel Air born young lady decided to make something for herself. She decided that she’d brand the name and image of Paris Hilton long before the Kardashians or “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” stars and certainly those less talented and far less attractive “Jersey Shore” residents decided to spray on a tan and parade around a house half-naked trying to outdo the other in profanities and sex.

Sex appeal is something Paris has in spades. But on top of being sexy and beautiful, the young entrepreneur is extremely smart and savvy. Yes, Paris like all of us who have grown up in the spotlight has seen her share of situations where people tried to knock her down, but she shows class that the Jersey girls and their crowd lack, and she showcases genuine beauty, something recent Valley girls have tried to pretend was something that they invented. Trust me, Paris thought of it, along with Nicole Ritchie long before the current wannabe reality stars ever knew what they even wanted.

It’s not about bashing others. It’s about giving credit where credit is due. Her gorgeous and smart parents and siblings take a lot of guff from people who are jealous of their success and only want to remember Paris for a few mistakes she’s made. Far fewer than many others, but unfortunately when you are a star; it’s all in the spotlight and glaring eyes of people who can be judgmental and frankly, pathetic! Don’t judge a book by its cover, is an old saying. Also, don’t judge someone for a few mistakes that all of us make, it’s just easier to make them without the paparazzi and tabloids following you. That being said, Paris is beloved by the paparazzi. So do most in the media. We often see her downstairs from our editorial offices being very gracious, giving big tips and ordering her favorite refreshing smoothie. Paris was raised to treat people with respect, and she adores her fans, and she has millions of them. Unlike the current list of reality stars, she built up a fan base with the idea of interacting with her public. Yes, a few nuts have come along, stalked and harassed the beauty, but she never seems to turn away her genuine and sane fans, of which she considers most of them just that.

Paris has created an empire; from fashion to charity. That’s right. Paris made sure that her empire would not forget those less fortunate. Just like her parents and her elders before her, she understands and empathizes with those in need. Sure, she lives a lavish lifestyle, but despite what people think. It’s built on hard work, lots of dedication and perseverance and most of all, her Midas touch is more about her innate intelligence. Sure, let the naysayer tell you this young lady doesn’t have a lot upstairs. I can tell you, Paris Hilton deserves the title of Princess of Beverly Hills. If the world had more Paris Hiltons, we’d all be in a better place! If anyone gives you a hard time, Paris! Tell them to call Tommy Garrett at Canyon News!
