WESTWOOD—The #22 UCLA Bruins proved once again that they belong in the top 25 poll after a 37-6 win over the Houston Cougars on Saturday.

Brett Hundley continued the impressive start to his college career as he threw for 320 yards and 2 touchdowns, although he did also throw 2 interceptions.

Heisman-hopeful Jonathan Franklin ran for 110 yards and continues to lead the NCAA in rushing with 541 yards.

The story of this game, however, was the Bruins defense. UCLA held Houston scoreless until 4:54 left in the game. Houston converted only 6 of 20 3rd down attempts and 0 of 3 on 4th down, and the Bruins kept the Cougars off the field to the tune of 18:46 time of possession for Houston.

UCLA's senior cornerback Sheldon Price intercepted 3 David Piland passes and the Bruins picked off the Houston quarterback a total of 5 times.

The Bruins, now ranked #19, will open up Pac-12 play at home against Oregon State this Saturday at 12:30.
