Boston Bruins Take A 2-1 Lead

BOSTON—The Boston Bruins took a 2-1 series lead over the Chicago Blackhawks in the Stanley Cup Finals. The Bruins won 2-0 at home to put the Blackhawks in a hole.

Tuukka Rask, the star goaltender for the Boston Bruins had 28 saves to keep the Blackhawks from scoring on his home floor. Daniel Paille scored the first goal of the game for the Bruins, which came during the second period. Patrice Bergeron scored for Boston also during the second period. The only scores for both teams and they came during the second period.

 

Chicago didn’t score one point, and according to the Bruin championship history,  game three wins have been very good. Corey Crawford had 33 saves for the Blackhawks. Marian Hossa was a game-time scratch one of the Blackhawks best offensive player, which cost them a lot.

 

The best of seven games series between the Chicago Blackhawks and the Boston Bruins will continue in Boston with game four on Wednesday.
