The Blackhawks bombarded Kings' Johnathan Quick, running him out of the United Center. Andrew Shaw and Brent Seabrook both scored on Quick in the first period. During the second period, both Bryan Bickell and Michal Handzus also scored on Johnathan giving the Kings a 4-0 lead for the game. The defending Stanley Cup champions only have 29 goals in 15 postseason games.

The Kings managed to score twice, but they came after Chicago had already dismantled them. Jeff Carter made the first goal towards the end of the second period and the second goal came in the closing moments of the game by Tyler Toffoli. The number one seeded Blackhawks came to play today putting the Kings in a 0-2 hole.

The best of seven games series between the Chicago Blackhawks and the Los Angeles Kings will continue with game three on Tuesday in Los Angeles. The winner of this series will advance to the Stanley Cup Finals against the Boston Bruins or the Pittsburgh Penguins.
