Kings Win Game Three

LOS ANGELES—On Tuesday, June 4, the Los Angeles Kings won game three to keep the Chicago Blackhawks from taking a 3-0 lead. The Kings came up big in Los Angeles winning 3-1 to get their first win of the series.

Slava Voynov had a goal and an assist for the Kings scoring his goal during the second period. Johnathan Quick made 19 saves for Los Angeles to lead them to the 3-1 win. Justin Williams had a goal during the first period and Dwight King also had a goal, which came in the third period in the last minute.


Bryan Bickell scored for Chicago in the second period and Corey Crawford stopped 25 shots for the Blackhawks, but it wasn’t enough to pull out the win.


The best of seven games series between the Los Angeles Kings and the Chicago Blackhawks will continue on Thursday with game four in Los Angeles. The winner of this series will move on to the Stanley Cup Finals against the winner of the Eastern Conference Finals between the Pittsburgh Penguins and the Boston Bruins.
